Ensign Beaded Edge Universal Motorcycle Tire and Tube. The Dunlop Cord motorcycle tire was one of the most popular designs of beaded edge motorcycle tires available in the modern era. Its twin-lug pattern and "Cord" sidewall markings (as well as "Extra Heavy Duty" in the case of the larger sizes) have become synonymous with any classic bike still using stock beaded tires. When Dunlop ceased production, it seemed like there would never be an alternative to keep these bikes going. However, using Dunlop moulds, Ensign began producing beaded edge motorcycle tires in a range of sizes. These emulate the Dunlop model, in addition to being marked as Ensigns.
